So there was this post on DOA about a list of 13 dolls of your choice you could have.
It was a tough choice but I came up with a list these are more or less my perennial favorites (contains a mix of dolls I have and are on my wishlist)!

I mentioned in a previous post that I got a doll bust display stand for Aki (Switch Huisa). I propped it up to make it taller so he can wear clothes and I think I like it a lot better now! He almost looks like he's a full doll in photos even if he's sans the arms and lower parts of his body lmao! Dang, now I'm really tempted to start collecting doll bust display stands for the rest of my floating heads too! Σ(ﾟДﾟ；!
Time to start dressing him up more with accessories! (♥ ∇ ♥)

I just saw Doll Family H new dolls and I really like the look of their 1/4 Chiyu! He looks really good in tanned skin too, and apparently he'll come with the new body! As much as I'm tempted, I'm trying to resist him and save the funds for those on my priority wishlist instead. Time to stop getting side tracked! Maybe one day if I win the lottery or something I'll get him?? Well, a girl can always dream lmao!

After seeing Loong Soul's doll bust display stand with the dreamy Miao Jun head on it, I regretfully report that I've gotten a fascination with those display stands LOL.
I figured I would get one for Aki, my Switch Huisa's head, since he probably won't be getting a body any time soon (probably never LOL) but then I figured I might as well wait until I have the moolah to bring Miao Jun (or Lie Er) home and buy them together during a promotion for more bang for my bucks. I managed to find another lower priced bust stand from Taobao and got one to "test out" since I've never seen a doll bust display stand before. It's much simpler than the Loong Soul one based from the photos, but it works. I'm just glad the neck more or less fits and the skin tone is more or less close. Anyhow, I can still use this stand for one of my many other heads when I eventually get the Loong Soul bust display stand for Aki. (≧▽≦ )
The bust display stand is really much smaller and lighter than I expected LOL!! But after seeing how Aki looks on it, I'm pretty tempted to get more stands for the rest of my doll heads LOL! But like my preference in doll bodies, I'll probably go for variety with these bust display stands as well. My next dolly bust display stand goal (lmao) is to get that Loong Soul one.

I was just replying a thread on DOA about the topic "If Your Dolls Came To Life" and OMG it totally reminded me of the game Nameless. I totally love that game! (≧▽≦ ).
Though if ALL of my dolls come alive they could probably be starred in a game called Homeless because I'd have no space at home for all of them lmao! but I think it'd be awesome if the bigger boys (60cm+) were alive though! Imagine a whole bunch of handsome guys in your life and maybe one might even call you "Master" like Yeonho in Nameless did LOL! :D *brings out the whip* (JK)
I'd totally love to know what they say to me though I can already imagine how they would behave around me. I posted this on DOA too but I'll repost it here because it's really fun LOL! I think I'll expand on it more when I have the time! (●´艸`●)ﾌﾌﾌ
- J will just laze around all day (like my cat) listening to music and generally being in his own world.
- L will ensure that my house will forever be lacking in money trying to feed his sugar addiction.
- Masaru will hog the piano everyday playing and composing music and then forgetting everything.
- Manabu will probably be the most "normal" one (like going out to work and all), although he's also the most likely to blow up my house with his scientific experiments.
- J.D. will most likely be a silent enigmatic presence, always staying close, never straying far.
- Hwan Xi will probably be the maknae who always liven up the atmosphere.
- Yushu will just take charge and boss everyone around LOL

OMG, I just saw Soom's new Super Gem Cat Walk Wolf! I really love his eyes! He reminds me of a K-Pop singer but for the life of me I can't remember who. I think it's that hair LOL.

I doubt I can get him since I'm broke at the moment but I feel like getting his elegance hands for my Chrom. I wonder if Soom will let me add the hands to my Zak order so I can save on shipping. Damn, sometimes I wish these companies can just sell the heads only. (TT_TT)

I've gotten my DLD boy last week but have yet to edit their box opening pictures because, ya know, I'm backlogged as hell and I still have my Loongsoul boy's box opening photos to edit, lmao. But anyway, I tried my DF-A Bach practice head on the DLD body and although the head is still a bit big for the body, it isn't too bad if he wears clothing, especially loose fitting one. I'm still undecided if Mu Myeong will get the body or not but that's another story for another day lol.
Finally also got wigs with matching colors for brothers Mu Myeong and Mu Jeong!

I should seriously stop getting side-tracked and get around to editing my poor Loongsoul boy's box opening photos... but his mistress has a really bad habit of getting side-tracked so anyhow, here's a side-tracked post of Ota in his traditional outfit with a side-tracked commentary about getting side-tracked from my Loongsoul boy.
The Kariginu was originally meant for Soom Cheshire Cat which I was hoping to get my hands on... but I never did, since I just wanted the human version and I don't think he was ever released as human only. I've been keeping the outfit and have it collecting dust for years lmao, so I'm giving it to Ota... for now.

Someone on DOA was asking if Mystic Kids dolls can sit cross-legged or in the lotus position (or half-lotus). I took some photos of my boy sitting cross-legged. He has the MK new 1-piece torso body. I can't be sure but I think the 3-piece torso body might be better at posing since they generally are. But I have absolutely no regrets choosing the 1-piece torso body over the 3-piece one. I really adore the aesthetics of the 1-piece torso body and the posing ability is also quite good for a 1-piece torso! Who knows, maybe I might be tempted to get another MK doll in future heh.

So I said in the box opening post that I was gonna add on to the outfit he currently has. Here's the finished work! I made the cloak, neck ring(?), headband and waist sash. (〃∇〃)

Some of you might have realized that the six coins emblem is the Sanada crest! (●´艸`●) The color scheme and waist sash are actually inspired from Sanada Nobuyuki of Samurai Warriors 4.

Speaking of Sanada Nobuyuki, the name I mentioned I was considering in the box opening post was actually "Nobuyuki" lol. Or "Xinzhi" which is the Chinese reading for his name in Kanji 「信之」. But Strawberry's finished look also reminds me a tiny wee bit of Bachong Xue of Chang An Fantastic Night...

On another note, I've read some comments about Cherry Castle dolls having weird egg shape heads with tall foreheads which is pretty much the same with my boy. You can see a picture from his side view photo here or more in the box opening post. But it worked perfectly for me in this case with just the right amount of space (or extra space) for both his hair and headband!
So I guess he's almost completed except that I still need to add hair extension so he has long hair like Bachong Xue lmao. (●´ω｀●) And I probably need to change his eyes colors too maybe??

OMG Loongsoul, what's up with them crunching out all these boys one after another?! Just when I just gotten my Ghost Lin and has yet to do anything with him (I blame the lack of time + my notorious laziness) I got sidetracked again and yet again.
I did quite like Miao Jun when he was first released but it wasn't enough for me to justify bringing him home even if he's beautiful and the costume is pretty and all (I think maybe it was the hair) but then I had to see the bust shot of Miao Jun in a short wig and in full frontal view last week which totally broke me and my will power to resist.
All it took to convince me was this look LOL
And now on week later just when I'm debating if I should put Miao Jun in the priority wishlist they had to release Lie Er. Noooooooooo whyyyy? Why you do this to me? Loong Soul, why?!
I seriously think I got a thing for smiling sculpts lately. (¬_¬)
I think Miao Jun and Lie Er look quite similar, although they each have their distinctive look and it's giving me such a dilemma. How do I choose?! Damn you Loong Soul. I think I'm just going to put both of them into the wishlist until I find myself a rich hubby or a money tree LOL.

The devil on my shoulder is chanting click-click-click-click while the angel on my other shoulder is all like no-money-no-buy and the devil is like layaway-layaway-layaway-layaway and the angel finally throws down an ultimatum, Hyperon or Zak. Okay, first thing first, I have to confess that I've got a recent (maybe not that recent) thing going for Korean actor Yoo Seung Ho.
In a bout of insanity, after watching the Korean drama, Arang and the Magistrate, I randomly messaged Stacy's Pink Ocean to see if they could custom make an outfit for me based on the character, Jade Emperor, played by Yoo Seung Ho in the show. I wasn't really expecting anything (you know, just asking) but to my surprise, they were okay with doing it! I ended up custom making another 2 more outfits lmao: a modified hanbok worn by Yoo Seung Ho in the same drama, and another outfit worn by Yoo Seung Ho from the movie, Joseon Magician. Okay, I know I am obsessed with that guy lmao!
They delivered all three outfits wonderfully, which I think is an amazing feat because of the lack of clear, high quality, full-body reference pictures (all I had were mostly crappy half-body screenshots form the drama). I really love the outfits, especially the Jade Emperor's. I made some minor changes to them, like adding the jade piece, gat, fan and stuff since the outfits didn't come with accessories, but overall I am really thankful to them for being so patient with all my requests and for making my dream come true with such beautifully, professionally made outfits!!

I'm totally bowled over by the amazing skill of the seamstress who made this outfit! I'm still in the process of completing his look, like adding white strands of hair to his wig, finding a similar looking black and white jade piece, adding some embroidery on his shoes, and so on, but overall I'm really happy with how my king is turning out, although he's not so much the Jade Emperor than a Dragon King/Sea God!

This is the other outfit Yoo Seung Ho worn in the same drama (actual #1). I was a bit bummed that Stacy's Pink Ocean was not able to make the Gat for the Hanbok, but it was understandable because their specialization is in Chinese outfits. Fortunately, I managed to find the Gat on Dollmore to complete the look! This hanbok is actually specifically made for Yushu but J.D. is wearing it at the moment so it's a bit long for him since Yushu is taller. I think he is totally rocking the hanbok look though! ♥ I might just get one made for him LOL
THE JOSEON MAGICIAN ROBE
Custom made this on a whim, I did. LOL! The amount of attire changes Yoo Seung Ho had in this 2 -hour movie was a hell lot more than his outfits in the drama Arang and the Magistrate and I had a headache deciding which to make, but I went with the default one (actual #1) and an inner attire that I spied on him somewhere in the movie (actual #2, and lmao at the quote lolol). It was difficult trying to find a similar fabric with the same pattern so I decide to just put my trust in Stacy's Pink Ocean to choose a pattern for me and I gotta say that I think the outfit worked out quite nicely! This outfit was custom made for my incoming Loongsoul boy but he isn't here yet so J is modeling it. I may be biased but I think J looks good in it!
There are two other outfits I want to make too, but I'll probably hold back on that until I decide who to dress them up in LOL! And hopefully Stacy's Pink Ocean would still be open to custom making them for me after probably vomiting blood over the making of these outfits lolol.

I swear I was just looking around for a new outfit for Shinobu's new character makeover but I stumbled (emphasis on the word "stumbled") upon a new doll by Loong Soul and it was freaking love at first sight. Help.

The way they did up his description is so poetic and beautiful. Long story short, Lin is a entity that, in the form of a young man, lights the way with his lantern and guides lost souls - countless of them no thanks to turbulent times - into the nether world. There, all in one sentence.
I checked out Loong Soul's other offerings under the same series and I really like their current ghostly theme. Some might probably see the dolls as creepy and in a sense they are, because they are supposed to be supernatural beings, but I find them hauntingly beautiful.
I really, really love Lin, so he'll be coming home. My only dilemma is to choose him in White or Normal skin. I'm thinking WS so he'd look just the same as he is in the official photos, but I don't want him turning green on me like my WS Soom Chrom did LOL. (Should I say "yellowing" or "greening" now). I would love him in NS too, but I'm afraid he would look more... 'normal' and not as "hauntingly beautiful". Oh man. We'll see how it goes...

OMG! I just received an email from Switch that Waseon Mocha Skin will be released this month! I was previously considering getting him for my new character but NS was sold out and my character is supposed to be tanned so skin like mocha skin would suit him better. I did, however, actually prefer the faceup on the NS version, particularly for the mouth. Even so, Waseon's release in mocha skin couldn't have been better timed... except that I'm pretty broke and low on dolly fund and the currency exchange rate is just simply too horrendous right now! (T^T)
I guess I'm just gonna wait for his release and see how it goes.......

I've been planning for a new character lately although I haven't been actively hunting for a doll as I never really come across a decent, if not perfect, sculpt for my planned boy. At the moment, I'm looking at sculpts from Soom, Souldoll, Iplehouse or Switch for him because of the aesthetics, but I am also keeping an eye open for the perfect sculpt to come along.
When Switch sent a newsletter for Mori and Ahi, I just had to check them out. I initially preferred Ahi over Mori, but he was in white skin, and I didn't realize they were the same sculpt until later (the wonders of faceups!).
Fingers being itchy, I went to take a closer look at the other Switch boys again, this time with the looks of my character in mind. I even did some "research" on Flickr. And damn, I am really liking Waseon for my new boy. Granted, there's a few minor differences, like his jaws or chin isn't as sharp as Waseon's, but Waseon comes close to being just a slightly younger version of my character.
And he is sold out. LOL!!
Well, I guess I can only hope for a re-release, ideally in mocha skin since my boy is supposed to be slightly tanned. At least I'll have some time to save up on the dolly fund as Switch don't accept layaway.
Either that, or pray for the "totally perfect" sculpt to come along. (A girl can always dream!).

So, like, finally? Okay, you know Galileo is slow, and we are rather short on manpower, and there is a massive backlog going on. But we finally got the café crew profile up and running.
Granted, it's pretty short and not as detailed as one would have liked, but at this moment, I think I'll just take what Galileo has to offer... Anyway, I can always falsify update it on the sly whenever needed.
Now all that's left is our background story to be updated under Project Galileo. But knowing Galileo, I guess it'll be just another long wait...

I'm sorry for posting this a tiny bit late, but we came back from the vacation to find this lovely little package from booksandlatte (on instagram) in the mail and Junsu jumped on it right away!
Junsu loves those little snacks. His only complaint is that those cute little gingerbread men can't be eaten LOL! But really, they are so adorable, we wouldn't bear to eat them even if they are edible! Thank you lovely booksandlatte for the gifts! I hope our little package has already reached you too!
Merry Christmas everyone, once again! And I promise to try to post some of our vacation photos soon, though it's not like anyone interested ROFL!
