This dude is the one responsible for getting me out of my dolly hiatus and continuing my descent down into dolly madness hell. LOL. I swear I was only just looking for some dolly outfits on Taobao for one of my boys's character makeover when I came across Loong Soul Ghost Lin on Loong Soul's official Taobao store and it was love at first sight. [Recap on the fateful encounter]. ( ๑´艸｀๑)
Anyway, I took the plunge on November 11, 2016 and got him with the default wig, outfit set, shoes, faceup, body blushing and little Xiuxiu Type B (which was added on later). He arrived home on March 15, 2017 after some drama with shipping and DHL. But I'll keep this post free from ranting.
So moving on to the box opening. It took me a while to edit his box opening-cum-photostory photos because his mistress is such a lazy nubcake LOL. But here it goes, with a guest appearance by a very handsome guy LOL (๑ↀᆺↀ๑)✧

It was hard to find a black wig with white streaks of hair for Yushu so I got a black wig off Taobao and add the white strands myself. I think the effect is rather good! Now I just need to get some hair gel for his fringe LOL!
Dude is about 85% complete now I guess. (๑￫ܫ￩๑) Can't say the same for the rest of the boys LOL too many projects to catch up on!

Okay, first thing first, I have to confess that I've got a recent (maybe not that recent) thing going for Korean actor Yoo Seung Ho.
In a bout of insanity, after watching the Korean drama, Arang and the Magistrate, I randomly messaged Stacy's Pink Ocean to see if they could custom make an outfit for me based on the character, Jade Emperor, played by Yoo Seung Ho in the show. I wasn't really expecting anything (you know, just asking) but to my surprise, they were okay with doing it! I ended up custom making another 2 more outfits lmao: a modified hanbok worn by Yoo Seung Ho in the same drama, and another outfit worn by Yoo Seung Ho from the movie, Joseon Magician. Okay, I know I am obsessed with that guy lmao!
They delivered all three outfits wonderfully, which I think is an amazing feat because of the lack of clear, high quality, full-body reference pictures (all I had were mostly crappy half-body screenshots form the drama). I really love the outfits, especially the Jade Emperor's. I made some minor changes to them, like adding the jade piece, gat, fan and stuff since the outfits didn't come with accessories, but overall I am really thankful to them for being so patient with all my requests and for making my dream come true with such beautifully, professionally made outfits!!

THE JADE EMPEROR ATTIRE
This is the outfit that sparked my bout of insanity lolol. It's an near replica of the actual outfit (refer to actual #1 and #2) worn by the Jade Emperor in Arang and the Magistrate. I'm totally bowled over by the amazing skill of the seamstress who made this outfit! I'm still in the process of completing his look, like adding white strands of hair to his wig, finding a similar looking black and white jade piece, adding some embroidery on his shoes, and so on, but overall I'm really happy with how my king is turning out, although he's not so much the Jade Emperor than a Dragon King/Sea God!
THE JADE EMPEROR HANBOK

This is the other outfit Yoo Seung Ho worn in the same drama (actual #1). I was a bit bummed that Stacy's Pink Ocean was not able to make the Gat for the Hanbok, but it was understandable because their specialization is in Chinese outfits. Fortunately, I managed to find the Gat on Dollmore to complete the look! This hanbok is actually specifically made for Yushu but J.D. is wearing it at the moment so it's a bit long for him since Yushu is taller. I think he is totally rocking the hanbok look though! ♥ I might just get one made for him LOL
THE JOSEON MAGICIAN ROBE
Custom made this on a whim, I did. LOL! The amount of attire changes Yoo Seung Ho had in this 2 -hour movie was a hell lot more than his outfits in the drama Arang and the Magistrate and I had a headache deciding which to make, but I went with the default one (actual #1) and an inner attire that I spied on him somewhere in the movie (actual #2, and lmao at the quote lolol). It was difficult trying to find a similar fabric with the same pattern so I decide to just put my trust in Stacy's Pink Ocean to choose a pattern for me and I gotta say that I think the outfit worked out quite nicely! This outfit was custom made for my incoming Loongsoul boy but he isn't here yet so J is modeling it. I may be biased but I think J looks good in it!
There are two other outfits I want to make too, but I'll probably hold back on that until I decide who to dress them up in LOL! And hopefully Stacy's Pink Ocean would still be open to custom making them for me after probably vomiting blood over the making of these outfits lolol.

Okay, since Galileo is too busy lazy to update the blog, the crew at Café Galileo (lead by yours truly) has decided to take over it, by force and by crook. We have some new updates considering a special date is descending fast upon us... The blog has a new makeover in time for Halloween, although much is still incomplete, so please bear with us while we fiddle fine tune it.
Also, I'm kind of miffed that Galileo never got around to getting my faceup and hairstyle done... So this is my current look until she gets off her big fat lazy arse posterior and do something about it. So here goes. My selfie!

New shirt and new wig for Yushu! But as much as I like the style of the new wig, the seller sent me the wrong size so it was a tad too big for the guy and looked kinda... puffy on him. I think he should just revert back to his white hair... ε- (￣､￣o)
But until then, here's Yushu in a new "hairstyle" and a new "dye" lmao! Guy needs a new faceup too... OTL

I finally, finally, finally found a lab coat that my Iplehouse SID boy can actually fit his hunky arms into! ᕙ(`▽´)ᕗ It is actually a tight fit around the arms... but at least he could manage to squeeze all those "muscles" into the sleeves! He's actually not a doctor but a scientist... （〃▽〃）

Finally some Yushu spam! ( ´ ▽ ` ) ~♪
Firstly, a little review on his outfit!
His outfit is actually an impulse buy from earlier this year from this Taobao shop rofl! His character is supposed to be wearing a black and white suit but the set I bought for him before his arrival didn't really fit, and I also wanted one of my boys to be wearing some kind of aristocrat outfit so I decided on a whim to get him this outfit paired with this leather pant LOOOL. I seriously never expected that any of my dolls would wear a leather pant! I was kinda hesitant at first as I was afraid the sexy tight pants wouldn't fit, and even requesting the seller to custom make it for Souldoll Zenith size didn't really ease my fears.
To my surprise though, the outfit is a perfect fit for Yushu! (Thank you seller, you're simply amazing!) The quality is really good and the flimsy-looking "netting" material of the outer coat held up well together even with a heavy Souldoll event accessory pinned on it. Overall I'm really happy with the outfit so Yushu will be wearing this set while I continue to find the perfect suit (and shoes!!) for him. I am also trying to find the perfect wig for him but it's just so hard to find the right one in white color, especially when his head is smaller than most SDs. So I guess the hunt for the perfect Yushu continues!

I think this is my first attempt taking "family" photos of more than two dolls in one photo LOL. They are modelling hand puppets for tinies that I'm going to put up for sale. Puppets are too big for Yushu but the kids won't let him get away. XD

A bit of a delay but here is Yushu with the 2nd faceup that was done last week - with lower and slightly thicker eyebrows, though it still suck anyway. I think I'm going to have to redo it again some time... T_T

I finally got Chiron after 4 months of waiting! I've been wanting and planning for Chiron since 2010 and jumped on the chance to get him when Souldoll had a free-head-of-your-choice winter event last year, since I also wanted H.C. Yurr to be Masaru (Manabu's brother). Well, Souldoll didn't send me my event head due to a delay, but they said they would send him in two weeks; I hope they don't forget. -.-
Anyway, camera was away for repair so I had to resort to using my phone camera. Plus it was at night so photo quality was crappy.... There was supposed to be a box opening story involving little Rain but I got lazy and I didn't want to wait till my camera was back to retake the photos since I wanted to start on his faceup. So.... sorry Chiron... crappy box opening for you.... (T^T)
The damage on the box nearly gave me a heart attack!
