Little Miss Pouty's New Dress!

I was supposed to get started on another project last weekend, but while I was taking instant photo of Junsu with some food, I noticed that, horror of horrors, his chest has a big brown stain on him!! At first I thought it was the food but it turned out to be the metallic buttons on his little froggy shirt, which has turned rusty! So I had to ditch the shirt and hastily make him an outfit so that he won't have to go naked. Anyway, the outfit I've been promising him is long overdue, so I guess this incident is just forcing me to stop procrastinating! ROFL!

Then while I was making the outfit, he went and faceplant himself on the table and chipped his faceup.... so I ended up having to spend the next day redo-ing his faceup as well! OTL

Here's his latest look! ♥

I had another outfit design in mind for him but I was short on time so I just did something more simple. (And also partially because I had a last minute idea to make a "sailor" theme outfit for him LOL!) The hat isn't completed either; I just sort of haphazardly put everything together instead of sewing it properly, so I'll have to redo it again later.

I'll also make him the other outfit I had in mind when I have more time to. But until then, I'll probably just procrastinate again ROFL.

Near's outfit is done (maybe). Pretty crappy actually, I didn't bother with the seams so it's a real mess underneath with all those fraying, and I CHEATED on the buttons, which are sewed on. LOL. Anyway, here's little Tetsuya modelling the outfit. What do you think? Does it look like Near's outfit? Feedback or suggestions for improvements are very much welcome! >w<

And I think Tetsuya might make a good Near!! ♥

Sage is coming home!

"Boat means Friendship" - Kiro

YAY! Rosenlied has shipped Sage's head back! I hope I get him in time for October 31st. If I can't get Chrom (L) for an October 31 birthday (exactly NOT as planned, darn Soom, all my planning, down the drain!), at least junior L can accompany me on that day. In case you are wondering, October 31st is not just Halloween but also L's birthday! Yes, yes, I am obsessed. Sooooo I hope Sage can reach me before October 31st or I'll totally be in emo mode for the whole day. T_T

On another note, lazy me finally got started on Near's outfit. Since I don't have a Soom doll yet, I'm using Sage's poor headless body for measurements. I just hope it fits Soom's measurement. =.= Managed to finish the pants, so I'm left with just the shirt, which I think is a pain in the ass. I think my fabric is a little translucent, plus I am not too confident making shirts. Maybe I should just buy instead. =.=

Kiro finally received the outfit I made for little Kheri, which is unexpectedly fast shipping! But I guess it's a little big for Soom. ¬_¬ I hope that means Soom dolls are smaller than Rosenlied's so I can get my Near settled. >w< Here's one of my favorite shots of Kheri in the photoshoot Kiro did. Although you can only see his back, I think this shot shows a lot of promise and hope and somehow I find him wearing the outfit shorter and showing his ankle sexy (*ahem*).

I made a two-layered Japanese-Chinese fusion Yukata set for Kiro's little Kheri's one year anniversary. Basically, it's a yukata with 'opened-sleeves' (or whatever it's called) like Chinese hanfu - I think that's what Kiro wanted. Yuya got to model the final work because he's just too regal in it! (owner's bias) >w< Little bugger didn't want to remove it afterwards. >w<

[Tiramisu] Sweetheart Type B 1/6 Dress

So I wanted to learn NEW sewing skills, specifically, bloomers and sleeveless round-neck tops instead of the usual no-sleeve tubes I always do (since I can't sew for nuts). And learning to do these two means I might finally learn how to make boy outfits for my little ones instead of the usual dresses. After two failures on the top and bloomer, I finally managed to get something that look a little remotely like what I had it mind.

My little Tetsuya has the honor of modeling for me ♥ (please ignore the sailor hat, it's a fail LOL ಥ_ಥ)

Special thanks to Kiro for the bloomers tutorial! ♥ It really helped a lot although my sewing still sucks LOL I hope this will pave the way for more "practices" to come!

A lovely someone who bought my previous outfits pm'ed me on DoA, asking about 'commissioning' a 'woodsy' theme, dark green or dark blue outfit with a cloak. A trip to my local store only netted me with a plain dark midnight blue fabric, and I couldn't find lace or ribbons of similar colors to match what I had in mind. What I did found was a lighter, different shade of blue "lacy ribbon", so I was a little stumped about what to do with it. I decide to just go with it and work out the basic dress, which upon finishing I thought was pretty o----kay (read: bleh). But adding in the mini cape and headgear, which was a last minute change from the bow I thought I would do, I'm quite pleased with the finished outfit even if it may not be perfect or doesn't look "woodsy"! OTL
