As much as I love the Patrick sculpt (I'm so bowled over by his official photos), I can't seem to do any justice to him with my crappy faceup skills and I hardly play with him either. To be honest, I'm a a little reluctant to part with him since he has been with me for so long but I figure he might as well find a better home with an owner who will give him the love and attention he deserved.
He's a 2010 head so there's some yellowing. You can see the comparison with the headcap in the photos below. He has undergone a couple of faceups before but I've cleaned him up as best as I could. However, I've noticed that he has a small dark "mark" on one of the lower eye area. I can't tell if it's a stain mark or a small chip because it's so small, but I believe it can be covered up with faceup; that's what I did anyway! (^^;)

Now that Hae Seong has a temporary body, he has to find more chances to look cool before L (Chrom) head is back from his faceup!

Since L (Chrom) is away for faceup, Hae Seong took the opportunity to (forcefully) take over L's body. So lazy me took the chance to (finally) take some snapshots of the AS Huaxi's Snow outfit that I got a few months ago. It is modeled here on Soom SuperGem body (with Leeke Patrick head). Makes me wish I have a nice background to photograph him in. Still, it's amazing what photoshop actions can do to really crappy photos.
I think Hae Seong looks really good as a brooding Chinese strategist! ♥ I wonder if I should just get him a damn body, change his character and dress him permanently in this outfit! LOL
P/S: The bun in his hair is not supposed to show. Such big bun, I had trouble tying the "crown" (?) to it, so I cheated. I guess that's the downside of not getting the default snow wig for the outfit. -.-

Hoho! Decided to revamp Hae Seong's faceup today, and while I was at it, I also took out the Luts Winter 2010 head that I got from last year but which was chucked into my cupboard due to some... stinking problem about staining.
As usual, I still suck at painting eyebrows, the lines suck and I think I painted them too high (-.-), but I am happy with the slight improvement on the lips and moles. Yes, moles. I gave them both "beauty marks" all over their faces LOL. Plus, I think I am in love with the Luts Winter Head now, time to give him a name and a character maybe! >w<

With extra wig and eyes I have lying around. Think he uses 16mm eyes.
I like how he look with 14mm but there are "gaps" at the sides of the eyes.
Might probably need to get him new eyes and wigs! (￣▽￣)

I guess not, his head is much bigger than Chrom, but well, a girl's got to try.
And, that's a wig I got last year for "Chiron" (*facepalm*)

Actually, I just removed his wig to save it for Manabu (Senior)
It's hard to make the pastel stay on his resin now. Is he getting old? ._.
Speaking of which, dolly plan is changing again. I may have to butcher some Jr. characters (aka tinies) just so that I can keep to my 7-tinies limit and not have it ballooned to 12 or 13 =.= Maybe I'll just have senior versions for Manabu and Masaru and skip the Jr. versions. But, I guess I'll see.....

So, my spanking-new two-month old poor little cutie-pie Sage had a great fall like Humpty Dumpty and flattened his nose. Basically, I plopped him onto a pillow for photo-taking and the pillow ejected him like a cannon ball into the air and then gravity took over. WHY? I treated you with the most care (and LOVEEE) and you got damaged even way faster than the rest! ಥ_ಥ
Thank dolly god Rosenlied had an "after-sale" service and after reading my very turbo-emo email, they agreed to take a look at my little Sage. I wasn't really expecting them to agree to replace it or something, I thought Sage was a gone-case and the only way was to buy him again, so imagine my surprise when they said they could replace his head (or any damaged parts for future reference) for a *ahem* fee. I am hoping he can be repaired if it's just the faceup or something. But we'll see.
So now, Sage's head is packed for shipping and I feel so sad seeing his body left behind. So. I did something super.
I'm sorry Hae Seong. I know I should really get you a proper body some time.

I wasn't expecting to get my second this fast, but when Leeke released Patrick, I knew I just HAD to get him. He was a limited, and I didn't have time to save enough to get the full set, so I just got his head first. Truth be told, I sort of regretted NOT getting his faceup (my attempts are absolutely horrible! T_T)
Finally I have a bjd to welcome new dolls in! =^w^=
