I don't know since when I started to seriously plan for a 1/8 doll though a Rosenlied Mango has been on my wishlist for quite some time. I never used to stalk Lati's website as I thought some of their dolls look bobble-heads in some of the owners' photos I've seen. But I saw a Lati Miel somewhere and just went ♥ω♥! I always wanted to get a pair of twins so after some dilemma, deliberation, and debating (with myself), I began to consider getting Lati Miel and Momo as my little twins!
Because I'm totally new to the size, I decided to get Miel first, so when Lati reopened their ordering period for the second time after I started stalking them, I jumped at the chance to get him. Miel was ordered on October 31, Halloween, and L's birthday (LOL), and he came in the mail on November 28, a Wednesday! Actually he came in on the 27th but no one was around and I was totally unaware because I didn't receive a shipping notice and I wasn't exactly checking Lati's website for shipping updates everyday! He got shipped within 30 days though so I guess that's all good! I nearly got a scare because his wig and temporary outfit were not here then, but thank god his temporary outfit came on the same day as he did!
Firstly~ the temporary outfit I got from nubanded off Etsy!
I intend to make an outfit for him but I am a little short of time during weekends at the moment... so I got him a temporary casual set to wear. Their outfits are not only affordable but also quite adorable. I like those animal hats!
Shoes for 1/8 tinies I got from idollzoo off Taobao! >w<
They have some really pretty and cute shoes and I had a hard time choosing!
I wanted the panda shoes too but sadly it was out of stock. T_T
They are really very well made for such a small size!
And now on to the box opening! XD

I nearly got a scare here when I unwrapped him and the head just rolled off!
I thought something was broken but the hook probably loosened during transit...
Or maybe Lati likes to send the dolls beheaded LOL!
They gave me some random umber eyes, and his face is a little... shiny.
His face is also a little chubbier than I initially expected but it doesn't look
too bad after putting and seeing him in a wig!
And finally, meet....
Junsu?

Sorry for the gender confusion LOL! He's supposed to be a boy but his wig is still not here yet, so he's on a girl's wig at the moment lolol. I was (and still am) considering whether to call him Junsu or Xia but I wanted to complete his faceup first before I decide, though I am inclined on "Junsu" for now rofl. I still have to work on his faceup and his outfit but those will take some time. >_<
And... I might be screwed... but I actually like his size LOL. It's not as small as 1/12 dolls like Pukipuki (thus easier to handle) and is a lot more portable than a 1/6 tiny! I was initially worried about him being bobble-headed but looking at him in person, the proportion doesn't seem too off for me. And might I add that he is really cute (owner's bias LOL)! I might probably get his "twin" home sometime next year (or so), but... we'll see. Rofl!
I'll post more photos and review of Lati and Miel again later!

Waaaaa so adorable. I love the nubanded outfit too. That person makes so many sweet character outfits and the hats are so so cute. What are you planning for his permanent outfit/wig?

Oh gosh, I almost bought more sets from nubanded and then I was like I thought I'm supposed to be making one for the new boy! There're just too many cute clothes! Wish I could sew tees like her! xD
Hahaha I think I mentioned triplets before on the Honey Delf threads ROFL! The companies should stop tempting us with new dolls, especially cute tinies! >< I know how you feel about the shoes! On hindsight I should have bought the frog shoes to go with the outfit rofl! But I'd love to get the panda shoes if they ever restock it!
